Sure I can spend about $150 for a flush but in this economy maybe I should wait a year (and about another 5 k miles) We only use our westy for trips and with the cost of gas that's limited to a couple of trips to Big Sur and the Sierra each year. My van has been driven less than 10 k miles since it was flushed two years ago. I'm not sure if they are saying this based on experience or if it's a job they don't like to do, but I find it interesting coming from such reputable places. But over the past two years a couple of very reputable shops here in Santa Cruz say that every two years is overkill and every 3-4 is fine.
